Material Recommendations

The Materials Recommendation page displays the materials used in the project along with their carbon intensities. It provides insight into carbon reduction potential by showing the carbon intensity of each material alongside the 20th percentile of low-carbon alternatives. For each material, you see three lower-carbon alternatives that meet structural, architectural, and/or thermal equivalence requirements. Manufacturer locations are also considered to ensure the alternatives can be procured. For your convenience, material recommendations can be sorted by highest to lowest impact or by building elements.
